Estang - A busy village with butcher, bakery, minisupermarket, tabac, pharmacy & doctor, Bullring

Estang is a busy and vibrant Gascon village with the Hotel du Commerce in the centre, but the most striking landmark is the rusty red bullring (over a hundred years old) which plays host to the traditional local 'Course Landaise'. Among the shuttered ancient bulidings you will find everything you would hope for... Bakery, Butcher, Pharmacy, Tabac & Newsagent and a Mini-Supermarché opposite a typical French Bar where you can enjoy a beer with some of the locals. Wander into the Antique shop on your way to the bakery. Every Thursday and Saturday morning you can expect to find fresh fish and local produce including a home-baked croustade!
